In addition to the standalone LSD units, the PRO KIT, which includes a 3.9 final drive gear set, will also be released at the same time.
The OEM final drive ratio for the 400Z / RZ34 6MT is 3.538. This is a mild setting that takes highway cruising, fuel economy, and noise into consideration. With the PRO KIT, changing the final drive to 3.916 creates a shorter gear ratio, greatly improving acceleration feel and shift feel. The connection between 2nd and 3rd gear becomes more responsive, allowing drivers to enjoy a more sports-car-like feeling both on the street and on the circuit.
