The HKS 13–20 Subaru BRZ FA20 2.1L Low-Comp Step 2 Full Kit is the ultimate bottom-end upgrade for high-boost FA20 builds. Designed and manufactured in Japan, this complete rotating assembly increases displacement to 2.1L (2091cc) using a 90.0mm forged stroker crankshaft while retaining the factory 86.0mm bore, eliminating the need for block boring or cylinder sleeves. The kit includes forged low-compression pistons, high-strength I-beam connecting rods, and a precision-balanced forged crankshaft engineered to withstand extreme horsepower and boost levels. The forged pistons feature a 3D crown optimized for the FA20 direct injection system, molybdenum-coated skirts to reduce friction and wear, and valve reliefs designed to accommodate high-lift HKS camshafts. The low-compression design provides greater tuning flexibility for turbocharged applications, while compression ratio can be further adjusted with head gasket thickness.
