Description

The Eventuri Carbon Turbo Inlet Tube for the Toyota GR Yaris and GR Corolla is engineered to reduce restriction between the intake system and turbocharger, increasing available airflow volume while maintaining a smooth path into the compressor inlet. Designed for the G16E-GTS platform, the enlarged carbon turbo tube improves turbo response, helps the engine achieve peak boost earlier in the RPM range, and supports measurable gains in both mid-range torque and peak power.

During development, Eventuri focused on two key areas: increasing the internal air volume available immediately before the turbocharger and improving airflow through the critical lower bend of the factory inlet. The OEM turbo tube is particularly restrictive in this section, limiting the volume of air the turbocharger can draw from under load. Eventuri increased the internal volume from approximately 1,300 cm³ to 2,200 cm³, an increase of nearly 70%, while reshaping the lower section to create a larger and less restrictive air reservoir ahead of the turbocharger.

This increased volume allows the turbocharger to draw from a larger supply of air with less restriction, reducing wastegate duty cycle and improving throttle response. Dyno testing demonstrated gains of up to 14 whp and 19 ft-lb of torque through the mid-range, with gains of approximately 9 whp and 9 ft-lb at peak RPM.

The main inlet tube is manufactured from rigid pre-preg carbon fiber to resist deformation under the vacuum generated by the turbocharger. The carbon tube connects to a bespoke nitrile elbow and a precision CNC-machined aluminum flange that bolts directly to the factory turbocharger inlet. This combination provides a durable, high-flow connection while preserving precise fitment throughout the assembly.

Eventuri also designed the GR Yaris / GR Corolla turbo inlet with future turbocharger upgrades in mind. The CNC-machined turbo flange is modular, allowing the inlet system to be adapted for compatible larger hybrid turbochargers by replacing the flange rather than the complete carbon tube. Alternative flange options are available separately as supported applications are introduced.

Complete the Eventuri Setup

The Eventuri Carbon Turbo Inlet Tube is the next step for GR Yaris and GR Corolla owners already running the Eventuri intake system. With nearly 70% more internal volume than the factory turbo inlet, it completes the airflow path to the turbo while improving response and delivering measurable power and torque gains.

Engineered Airflow at Every Stage

The Eventuri GR4 Carbon Turbo Inlet Tube is engineered as a complete airflow solution for the G16E-GTS platform. Every component is designed to reduce restriction, increase available air volume, and deliver a smoother flow path to the turbocharger while maintaining the build quality expected from Eventuri's pre-preg carbon fiber construction.

Complete Turbo Tube Assembly

Every Eventuri GR4 Carbon Turbo Tube is manufactured to exacting standards using 100% pre-preg carbon fiber with no fiberglass backing, creating a smooth internal surface for improved airflow efficiency. Each kit includes the carbon turbo tube, a precision CNC-machined turbo flange, and a custom nitrile hose for a direct-fit installation.

Developed Through 3D Scanning

Using OEM 3D scan data, Eventuri redesigned the turbo inlet to increase internal volume only where it benefits airflow. The revised geometry improves the transition into the turbocharger while maintaining precise fitment throughout the assembly.

Modular Turbo Flange

A precision CNC-machined aluminum flange secures the inlet to the factory turbocharger and completes the airflow path. The modular design allows the flange to be replaced with future versions developed for compatible hybrid and larger turbocharger applications.

Optimized Air Volume

Compared to the factory turbo inlet, the Eventuri tube significantly increases volume around the restrictive elbow leading into the turbocharger. Internal volume grows from approximately 1,300 cm³ to 2,200 cm³—an increase of nearly 70%—while a revised bend radius creates a smoother airflow path, improving throttle response and allowing peak boost to be reached sooner.
