Syltech "Fast Response" IAT sensors react to temperature changes much quicker than many generic open element or OEM-style sensors.
When airflow and boost conditions change rapidly, especially on turbocharged cars, a slow sensor can lag behind the actual intake air temperature.
That means the ECU is making fueling, ignition timing, and boost-related decisions using outdated data.
