If you own a Vanderhall and had a bad ball joint, the only option is to replace the entire control arm as they do not sell just the ball joint.
Per Vanderhall, the entire control arm assembly and the ball joint is manufactured as a set from China and has to be purchased that way.
Not only that, it is not an item readily available to you. Well, as we had several local clients with ball joint issues, we were asked to come up with a solution.
We designed a ball joint with a very well known suspension manufacturer who specializes in ball joints to handle the harsh abuse of motorsports.
We wanted the ball joints to be 100% serviceable, and make it completely overkill so you have a piece of mind whenever you get into your Vanderhall.

Ball Joints offer the precision of a spherical bearing with the misalignment range of a ball joint. The rugged steel housings will withstand impacts that can destroy other ball joints. Plus, even if you manage to damage the joint, they are fully rebuildable. The alloy steel ball studs are process coated for low friction and long wear. You will feel the difference in smooth travel and easy steering effort.
These ball joints provide very low resistance and a captured ball to maintain precise front end alignment.
Notes:
Any fastener with a taper should be torqued, seated and torqued again.
Please note that a cotter pin does not mean that the nut is tight, it just prevents the nut from backing out.
If you notice the copper plating on the taper wearing off, it means that the stud has been running loose.
