The Carmyth line of undergarments provides the highest level of breathability, comfort and protection. Developed in Sparco laboratories the Carmyth fabric is a mix of meta-aramydic and para-aramydic fibers. Carmyth fabric has a higher flame resistance than any previous material used in manufacturing of race wear. Test results have been extraordinary: Carmyth has surpassed FIA standards with a fabric weight lighter than all other previous materials. The lightweight fabric provides greater breathability and softness. Carmyth pieces feature X Cool Silver treatment which draws heat from the body surface to cool the driver. While the cooling effects of X Cool Silver lasts for several washes, adding Sparco’s special recharging pack during washing will also recharge them. The Carmyth series includes long-sleeved undershirts, long underpants, a hood with a single opening, and a hood with a dual eye opening. The hoods are one size fits all; undershirts and underpants are available in sizes from S to XL for guaranteed fitment. The Carmyth line is FIA approved.
